8th in Division Two

9pm Greg Davies and the Moonbeams

Gregory S Davies & The Moonbeams combine upbeat blues and folk with laid-back jazz and country balladry. With songwriter Greg on vocals, piano and guitar, Sheffield’s own Ian Swift on bass and Sam Dougherty on drums, songs explore a range of subjects; from country tunes about the disappearance of big-band leader Glenn Miller in 1944, to boogie-woogie songs about leather boots and rum & cola. The group have played shows throughout the UK and have received national radio play, including BBC Radio 2.

6.30pm Martin Lloyd Chitty

7.30pm Oh Papa

"A coherent and precise sound that disguises itself through sheer effortlessness in the form of melodic surf-esque pop." - Scruff Of The Neck

KRISS FOSTER and the TRIPLE WORD SCORES are a band from North Lancashire who sing songs about things that don’t usually get sung about (seasides, seabirds, Vimto and the Cumberland Pencil Museum). Reminiscent of The Television Personalities and Half Man Half Biscuit they are fronted by Kriss Foster, the man who sees the marvelous in the mundane.

In his spare time, Kriss enjoys playing Scrabble, five a side football and is an enthusiastic painter. He won a Blue Peter Badge in 1992.

“dead good” NME

9.30pm 20ft squid blues band
Up beat irreverent blues, mixing elements of the Chicago style with a broader take on the blues tradition. This is fast paced vibrant blues with eye-popping harmonica and intricate beats.

7pm PLUC
Fresh from the Burngreave Bayou, PLUC invite you into their world of sweet harmonies and tall stories where nothing is quite what you expect.

8pm Steel Songbirds
"Steel Songbirds were dug from the soil of Australia and England, forged in Sheffield UK, tempered in the swimming pool of life and sharpened on the wit of singledom in the folk/pub/archeology worlds. Comic and poignant, voices blending and mixing with fiddle and bouzouki, these girls know how to laugh!

Their first co-written song T'Internet Dates is what brought the duo together in 2017, and hilarity has ensued."
